      Being a part of GKT has made me realize the greatness of connecting with and supporting the elderly. Through our monthly visits, I have witnessed how these interactions can truly brighten their days and bring genuine joy to their lives. 

      Choosing to serve the elderly not only impacts them positively but also deeply engage the lives of each volunteer involved. It's heartwarming to see the difference we can make simply by showing up and spending quality time with them. Many elderly individuals face challenges such as isolation and a lack of opportunities for meaningful social interaction. Monthly visiting provide them with companionship and a sense of belonging, which are invaluable.

       Through these experiences, I've come to appreciate the value of empathy and the power of meaningful human connections, particularly in the later stages of life. It's a reminder of how small gestures can have a significant impact on someone's well-being and happiness. This journey with GKT has taught me not only to cherish these moments but also have more supportive communities for our elderly population.
